Common Actions

This page explains actions that appear throughout QoopOne — things you will do repeatedly in almost every module.

Searching and Filtering

Most list pages have a search bar and filter dropdowns at the top.

  • Type a name, ID number, phone number, or any keyword into the search box.
  • Press Enter or click the Filter button to see matching results.

Filter Dropdowns

Dropdowns let you narrow results by:

  • Status (e.g. Active, Pending, Suspended)
  • Date range (e.g. transactions from a specific month)
  • Branch
  • Category or type

Clearing Filters

Click the Clear button (or the ✕ icon) next to the filters to remove all search criteria and see the full list.

Pagination

When a list has many records, it is split into pages.

Creating a New Record

To add a new member, savings account, loan, vendor, etc.:

  1. Navigate to the relevant module (e.g. Members).
  2. Click the New / Register / Create / + Add button (usually blue, top-right).
  3. Fill in the form fields.
  4. Click Save or Submit.

Viewing a Record

  • In any list/table, click the 👁 View (eye) icon in the Actions column to open the full details page.
  • Alternatively, click the record's name or ID if it appears as a link.

Editing a Record

  • Find the record in the list.
  • Click the ✏️ Edit (pencil) icon in the Actions column.
  • Make your changes in the form.
  • Click Save Changes.

Edit permissions

You can only edit records if your role allows it. If the Edit button is missing, contact your administrator.

Deleting / Deactivating a Record

Most records in QoopOne are deactivated rather than permanently deleted, to preserve the audit trail.

  • Look for a Deactivate, Suspend, or Mark as Exited option.
  • Some records (e.g. closed savings accounts) cannot be deleted once they have transactions.

Approving or Rejecting a Record

For items that require approval (e.g. new member registrations, loan applications):

  1. Open the record (click View).
  2. Review all the details.
  3. Click Approve or Reject.
  4. (Optional) Enter a reason or note before confirming.

Exporting Data

Most list pages have an Export button or Download link. This lets you:

  • Download the current list as a CSV or Excel file.
  • Print a PDF report.

Printing

  • Many detail pages have a 🖨 Print button.
  • Click it to open the browser's print dialog.
  • Select your printer and click Print.

Status Badges

You will see coloured status badges throughout QoopOne:

Colour Status Meaning
🟢 Green Active / Approved / Paid Everything is in order
🟡 Yellow Pending Waiting for action or approval
🔴 Red Rejected / Overdue / Suspended Needs attention
⚪ Grey Inactive / Closed No longer in use
