Getting Started with QoopOne

This page helps you take your first steps in QoopOne — from logging in for the first time to understanding the main screen layout.

Before You Begin

To use QoopOne, you need:

  1. A cooperative code — a short code that identifies your cooperative (e.g. COOP01). Your administrator will provide this.
  2. A username — usually your email address.
  3. A password — given to you by your administrator or set during registration.
  4. An internet connection — QoopOne runs in your web browser. No software installation is required.

Supported Browsers

QoopOne works best on:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari (Mac / iOS)

Internet Explorer is not supported

Please use one of the modern browsers listed above.

First Time Login

  1. Open your browser and go to your cooperative's QoopOne web address (e.g. https://yourcoopname.qoopone.com).
  2. Enter your Cooperative Code, Email Address, and Password.
  3. Click Sign In.
  4. If this is your first login, you may be prompted to change your password.

Understanding the Layout

Once you are logged in, you will see the main application screen. Here is a quick overview of the key areas:

Area Description
Sidebar The left-hand navigation menu. Click any item to open that module.
Top Bar Shows your name, notifications bell, and a logout button.
Main Content This is where pages, forms, tables, and reports appear.
Breadcrumbs A trail at the top showing where you are (e.g. Savings → Target Savings → Create Plan).
  • Click the cooperative logo at the top of the sidebar to return to the Dashboard at any time.
  • Hover over menu items to see sub-menus expand.
  • Use the Search box (top of any page) to jump straight to any record.
  • On mobile phones, tap the hamburger menu (☰) at the top left to open the navigation.

Your First Tasks

Here is a suggested order for new administrators setting up QoopOne for the first time:

  1. Go to Admin → Settings and fill in your cooperative's details (name, logo, address).
  2. Go to Admin → Branches and create your branches.
  3. Go to Admin → Savings Products and configure your savings plans.
  4. Go to Loans → Products and configure your loan types.
  5. Go to Members and register your first member.
  6. Go to Savings and open an account for that member.
  7. Use Savings → Account Details to post the first deposit.
